Sunset Beach in Huntington Beach, CA: What to Expect

There are multiple entrances to Sunset Beach. Each one contains tropical flora.  

Sunset Beach is a 1.5-mile stretch of beach in the city of Huntington Beach, CA.

It’s bookended by a historic water tower landmark, which has been converted into a vacation rental, and Bolsa Chica State Beach.

Sunset Beach is wide and sandy, offering plenty of space for sunbathing, picnicking, and playing beach volleyball. It's a great spot for a peaceful day by the ocean, with fewer crowds compared to other beaches in Huntington Beach.

As the name suggests, Sunset Beach is a fantastic place to catch a sunset. The expansive views over the Pacific Ocean make for some truly stunning evening scenery.

Parking here is free too, and can be found on both sides of a greenbelt that runs parallel to the beach.
