The Newland House Museum in Huntington Beach, CA
In the back of a modern Huntington Beach shopping plaza with banks and quick service food restaurants, you’ll find a small grassy hill with a Victorian home perched on top.
The Newland House Museum, built in 1898, is Huntington Beach’s oldest and best-preserved residence. Once home to pioneers William and Mary Newland, who raised 10 children there, the fully restored house features original furnishings and an octagonal turret where Mr. Newland ran the farm’s operations.
Now open to the public, the museum offers a glimpse into the city’s past, with guided tours available by appointment.
