Salt Creek Beach in Dana Point, CA

Salt Creek Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Dana Point, CA. It’s located right in front of The Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel.

One of Salt Creek Beach’s greatest features is a massive grassy park that provides beautiful views of the Pacific Ocean.

This park has barbecue pits, shaded gazebos for large groups, a basketball court, and plenty of green space.

How to Access Salt Creek Beach

There is a parking lot on PCH directly across the street from the beach that is busy during peak season (summer). Once you find parking, you can walk through the connecting tunnel to access the road that takes you down to the beach. Alternatively, you can cross the street and descend down the public beach access staircase.

Note that the walk to Salt Creek Beach is a bit steep and may be difficult for some.
