Carbon Canyon Redwood Grove in Orange County, CA
Tucked away in a small Brea canyon is a beautiful, 3-acre grove of Redwood trees! You can access this trail by entering Carbon Canyon Regional Park, just note that there is a small parking fee.

There is an alternate, shorter and FREE route to the grove.
The way to access this route is to park your car on the corner of Wabash and Prospect. Then, follow the dirt trail down into the grove.

Fun facts about the Carbon Canyon Redwoods
Redwoods are not endemic to the area. The seeds that produced this particular Redwood grove were planted by a bank; therefore, the grove requires significant maintenance because the conditions are not naturally favorable to this species of tree.
The grove is significantly cooler by about ten degrees.
