The Hilbert Museum of California Art: What to Expect
The Hilbert Museum of California Art at Chapman University is a 22,000 square foot, single-story museum showcasing some fascinating pieces of Californian art.
The museum was made possible by Mark and Janet Hilbert and is run by Chapman University. It’s conveniently located right on the outskirts of Old Towne Orange, so there are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops you can stop by before or after your visit.
And just like the Orange County Museum of Art (OCMA) in Costa Mesa, admission to The Hilbert Museum is FREE—you just need to make an advance reservation online.
What we love most about this particular museum is there is a lot of art that depicts Orange County pre-21st century. There is also a cafe on-site.
