The LAB Anti-Mall in Costa Mesa: What to Expect (2024)

Fun fact: The LAB was once a night vision goggle factory

Key Info

Address: 2930 Bristol St, Costa Mesa, CA 92626

Hours: Each store has different hours

Parking: Free but difficult during peak hours

The LAB Anti-Mall in Costa Mesa is the polar opposite of what you’ll find just a couple miles away at South Coast Plaza (a luxury shopping mall that happens to be one of the largest in the country).

Located right across the street from The CAMP, its sister property, the LAB is a small, curated collection of shops, bars, and restaurants located in a hipster outdoor setting. Lately, it seems to be a popular place for remote workers to hang out.

Plenty of open seating

There are plenty of Instagrammable art installations like the rusty barrels or the CD-ROM archway.

There are a number of Airstreams on the property. This one is located in front of Urban Outfitters and sells vinyl records.
