The Best Breakfast Burritos in Orange County, CA (2024)

In Orange County, breakfast burritos are a beloved morning staple. But just like tacos, there are so many different kinds—some use hashbrowns, some don’t; some include a housemade sauce, others use salsa.

We decided to sample all of the different options available in OC and share our favorites.

The Trough (Anaheim, Rancho Santa Margarita, Irvine)

What we liked about The Trough: The Trough has a unique take on breakfast burritos—by using tater tots, their breakfast burritos have a delicious, crispy/crunchy texture. They also have a location that’s just a short drive from Disneyland.

OC Wine Mart & Deli (Orange, CA)

What we liked about OC Wine Mart & Deli: These burritos are just the right size and not overly stuffed with potato. You can even pick up a bottle of your favorite wine on the way out.

Nick’s (Seal Beach, CA)

What we liked about Nick’s: Nick’s breakfast burritos are a great value and they come with a delicious red salsa. If you walk around Old Town Seal Beach on the weekends you’ll see lots of folks toting little paper bags of Nick’s burritos.
